Champion At Work- SkillsUSA at TJ

SkillsUSA at Thomas Jefferson High School in Denver, CO is a partnership of students, teachers and industry representatives, working together to ensure America has a skilled work force. It helps each student excel. The current skills participation is 3D, Web Design, Computer Programming, Video, and Photography. Mr. Esparza is the advisor for SkillsUSA at TJ.

SkillsUSA is a national nonprofit organization serving teachers and high school and college students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations, including health occupations.


Membership for Colorado and National membership is $18.00

If you are enrolled in the 3D, Web Design, Advance Software, or Pathways, your membership is covered.

If you are not in in any of these classes, then your fee for this year is $10.00. Payment is due by Jan 15th, 2015

State competition entry fee is $80. CCT Magnet will cover $40 of this fee.  Payment for Competition ($40) is due by March 15th. 2015. There will be additional cost for hotel stay. Cost will be determined by on how many will share a room.

April 8, 9, and 10, 2015
Colorado Springs. CO
Pikes Peak Community College

Wednesday evening the 8th will be the registration, rally, and testing for content and SkillsUSA

Thursday will be from 7:00am to 4:00pm- This is the competition day

Friday is the awards ceremony. All SkillsUSA Participates should be at the Conference Center by 2:30pm
